A career in design has taught me the need for simplicity and clarity
of design together with the sparing use of new features like Dynamic HTML
and Javascript to enhance the appearance of web pages and make them interesting
but usable.
I offer a full design service:
- domain name
if you do not already have your own domain sorted out, you can leave
this to me to find you a suitable hosting company and handle the domain
name application for you.
- design
this will be based upon a detailed discussion at your offices, and any
information you are able to give me in the way of text, images etc.
- first draft
this is a set of pages representing one of each of the types proposed
and demonstrating a typical path through the site.
- the final site
this will be the full set of pages running on my own web server
for final approval prior to being copied to your own webspace. These
pages will be fully optimised for fast loading, and include the necessary
information to enable them to be found by search engines.
- going live
as well as copying then to their final resting place, this includes
submission to the major search engines.
- on-going care
this service will ensure that the site continues to work correctly.
I will visit it monthly and test the links and update any informtion
you give me.
- how much?
Less than you thought. For example, a site rather like this one, consisting of a homepage
and up to six other pages with a logo and a few pictures and text provided
by you, the cost will be no more than £850.00 excluding domain name and hosting - it may even be less. You pay nothing for the first meeting and my report in which I will
tell you what the final cost will be. I will give you a quotation for
more complex sites or special features, so you know where you are at
the outset.
More complex sites will be quoted for on an hourly basis, as will extra work beyond the scope of the original quotation.
